Brio

Curated by the team behind Ambush, Brio is a really trendy, modern and cosy European-style street food restaurant specialising in European cuisines made with premium, high quality ingredients. So of course, we wouldn’t want to miss out their burgers!

With 3 different kinds of burgers on their menu, we can all of them packed full to perfection. The must-try is of course, the Frenchie Duck Confit Burger! After all, it is not everyday that you see a burger filled full with moist, tender duck meat. The addition of Emmental cheese and onion marmalade definitely brings out the unique flavour of this burger.

If you’re not a fan of duck, get the classic French Onion Beef Burger or the Emo Swiss Burger – all of them are equally delicious!

The Social Outcast is a fully Muslim-owned restaurant and they call themselves “The Heavy Smokers”. But hey, don’t get me wrong! It’s because they are focusing on delicious, fragrant wood-fire smoked and charcoal grilled food.

With 7 burgers on their menu, the burger lovers are bound to find something they love. They use soft, fluffy and buttery Brioche Buns so be prepared to sink your teeth into the sea of deliciousness. Look out for really unique combinations like Teriyaki Unagi, Moroccan Herb Lamb and Sesame Mayo Porobello (which is also lacto-ovo vegetarian by the way).

Fatburger

Burger lovers will definitely be familiar with this household name – Fatburger is a US-based fast-food chain founded in 1952 as a food stand. They’ve definitely came a long way since then! Their franchise in Singapore serves equally delicious burgers and they pride themselves in using only the freshest ingredients, traditional cooking methods and fresh-never-frozen lean beef, chicken, turkey and veggie burgers.

There’s nothing much on the menu. But we don’t mean anything bad saying this because it’s literally what a classic American burger joint looks like! The original Fatburger comes in Single, Double, Triple, and Quad sizes – what you order totally depends on your hunger level. All burgers also come with classic condiments like lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, mustard, relish, onions and pickles.

Another thing to note if you are not a fries person, is their ultra yummy, homemade-from-scratch onion rings! These perfectly-fried goodness are gonna give your taste buds a perfect treat.

Fat Papas

Homegrown burger joint Fatboys might not be Halal but their counterpart, Fat Papas definitely is! This burger joint was a dream come true for Haikel and Bernie. They started with a flagship outlet at Bali Lane and had since expanded to 5 outlets in Singapore and Malaysia! They have this dream of bringing delicious flavours to the Muslim community around the world and we are pretty confident that their big ambition is going to come true.

Fat Papas have a really intensive burger menu. But if you are looking for that ultimate treat, get the Wimpy burger. You get a choice of either beef or lamb patty with fried egg, turkey bacon, melted aged cheddar and barbecue sauce on a sesame seed bun. It’s intense but oh-so-good. Looking for something both sweet and savoury in one? Get The Elvis! You get a beef patty, grilled bananas and peanut butter all sandwich in a glorious honey oat bun. Yummy!

I am… is where Singapore and Amsterdam collide. This Halal cafe in Haji Lane serves a great line-up of Dutch-inspired cuisine and that is something that we don’t easily find in Singapore.

With their buns freshly prepared in-house, customers are definitely in for a fresh treat. Their thick, juicy beef patties are perfectly grilled using charcoals to ensure the best taste. They have not 1, but 4 signature burgers on their menu! Belle’s Burger definitely attracted us with that red chilli bun with charcoal-grilled beef patty, melted cheddar and minced jalapeño mayonnaise – for that glorious tingling sensation.

Since you’re already having a burger, you have to get a side of their signature thick-cut fries with mayo as well! The Dutch are famous for their dips so of course, you have a pretty great selection to choose from. We’d recommend the Garlic Aioli and Chipotle Tartar Mayo for that extra kick of flavours!
