If you have a major dessert crave late at night, Sweet Hut is the place to go! They are open till 3am daily — it’s the best spot to go for a late night dessert hunt along the Paya Lebar and Geylang area.
The thing that stood out most upon entering the shop is their colourful and eclectic interior. Multi-coloured walls, cute furnitures and beautiful backdrops — great for an Instagram-worthy post! However, don’t be deceived by their cute and modern interior because they serve very awesome food. From the absolute unfailing classic Hong Kong style traditional desserts, ice cream, to modern savoury dishes, Sweet Hut has it all!

The ladies will be delighted to find collagen-rich desserts like the Snow Jelly with Red Date, Wolfberry & Rock Sugar and Stewed Snow Fungus With Snow Pear. For the old souls, tantalise those tastebuds with traditional Chinese desserts — thick and creamy Yam Paste with Coconut Milk, Pumpkin & Ginkgo. Also, don’t forget the local favourite Bubur Cha Cha!
The Sago Series
Sweet Hut’s yummy sago series definitely deserve a huge shoutout. The popular Mango Pomelo Sago is a traditional classic Hong Kong dessert which has been gaining fame in Singapore. Sweet Hut insists on using the freshest mangoes and pomelos for this dish. The addition of crushed ice and the balance of sweet and sour from the fruits make this dessert a perfect refreshing treat for the Singapore weather. It’s one of our favourites!
Or if you are looking for a dessert, Singaporean style, you wouldn’t want to miss out their Durian Sago! Sinfully creamy fresh durian is combined with crushed ice, condensed milk and sago along a huge dollop of durian on the top. This lusciously rich dessert is bound to swoon over all our durian lovers!
Signature Savoury Dishes
Let’s not forget their equally delicious, if not better, savoury dishes. Their Signature Dry Noodles is a dish that is pretty rare in Singapore. Simple as it sounds, Sweet Hut uses Taiwan-imported Michelin-listed Signature Dry Noodles, then tossed with their own mix of Spicy Sesame Sauce and Vegan Meat Floss — you’ll get a simple but oh-so-delicious dish, from the perfectly cooked al-dente texture from the delectable noodles that are coated with a fragrant sauce made with a heavenly combination of sesame, peppercorns and chilli. Hmm, not that simple after all.
