Well, the most expensive burger in the world just got sold for almost US$6000 a few weeks ago. It was created by Restauranter Robbert Jan de Veen from The Netherlands, who was inspired to “make the world’s most expensive burger and donate the entire income to charity to do good for the society.” Construction of the burger took almost nine hours and it involves using an array of luxurious ingredients, including a patty made with Japanese A5 wagyu, beluga caviar, Alaskan king crab and generous amounts of truffle shavings along with a bun covered in gold leaf — which Veen named “The Golden Boy”.
