Who doesn’t love Thai food? We all do! This South East Asian cuisine can prominently be seen all around Singapore, often attracting foodies with their simple and delicious home-cooked fares. That spicy kick in a lot of Thai dishes is also a main reason why so many people are in love with this cuisine.
Thai cuisine puts a lot of emphasis on aromatics. Think lots of spices, herbs and lots of vegetables. Those ingredients release unique aromas that help to accentuate the flavours of the other ingredients. Some of our favourite dishes are Pad Thai, Green Curry and Tom Yum Goong. We definitely know our Thai food well and we are going to show you some of the best Thai restaurants in Singapore (with islandwide delivery). Real Thai
Real Thai is the go-to restaurant if you are craving some authentic and comforting Thai food. We love how they go that extra mile to develop their recipes and perfecting them before including them into their menu! They emphasise on “Fast Serving and Slow Cooking”. They might be a little slower at preparing your food but that’s not a bad thing – because they want you to taste perfection.
Move on with the usual pad thai or green curry and try the Khao Soy. For those who are unfamiliar with this dish, it is essentially a curry with egg noodles. Something like our local laksa but a slight difference in flavours. The broth is simmered with a base of red and yellow curry powder blend, coconut milk and chicken broth. The perfectly cooked curry is then served with crispy egg noodles and a succulent piece of chicken drumstick.
Aside from Khao Soy, they have the classics as well. Check out the Stir Fried Basil With Rice (choose from chicken, beef or seafood), wholesome Tom Yum Fried Rice as well as refreshing sides like Papaya and Mango salad. Thai cuisine is a great choice if you are ordering a meal for the whole family to share. Their signature dish, Steamed Seabass with Lime, Garlic and Chilli Sauce ($35.90) is a superb dish – this refreshing dish will please your palate with its combination of flavours. The sourness and spiciness from the lime, garlic and chilli, the sweetness of the fresh seabass along with the other herbs they use to prepare the dish – super wow.
Another dish that is great for sharing and goes really well with rice is the classic Thai Green Curry ($16.90). They use their own blend of herbs simmered with a light touch of coconut cream and your choice of chicken or beef. Super comforting dish indeed!

Nakhon Kitchen was founded with an initial idea of making affordable and authentic Thai cuisine readily available for everyone. Their dishes are influenced by the cooking styles of the different parts in Thailand with a menu that combine the fascinating flavours of Northeastern Thailand’s Issan cuisine and modern cooking styles that are commonly found in Bangkok’s street food.
Start with a few refreshing starters and give the Sotong Salad and Seafood Salad a go. These super refreshing starters are really great to kickstart your meal. Choose from one of their 3 renditions of the Tom Yam Soup that comes in a clear base, seafood thick base and prawn thick base. If you’re looking for that full-on Thai experience, we’d totally recommend the thick base! But if you’re not feeling it, the Tom Yam Soup with the clear base is a great choice too.

Noodle Thai Thai Kitchen
Noodle Thai Thai Kitchen located at Beach Road serves authentic Thai Cuisine specially prepared by kitchen staff from Central Bangkok and Northern Thailand. They make sure to use the best, freshest ingredients in their dishes – never compromising on great quality.
Craving for something wholesome, hearty and very sinful? Order the Thai Pork Knuckle. Although this meat-heavy dish is influenced by Chinese cooking, it has lots of Thai flavours to it. The pork knuckle is first stewed in a seasoned hot pottage, then cut into thin slices and is commonly topped on steamed rice. The meat, combined with its accompanying dipping sauce made with chilli peppers, garlic and other spices will definitely wow your tastebuds!
Also, check out their signature Jade Noodles ($7.20 – $13.20) that comes with your choice of clams, basil minced chicken, basil minced pork or double grilled chicken. Super chewy noodles with a fragrant side of protein. What’s not to love?

Joe’s Thai Kitchen
This humble and cosy restaurant was founded by Chef Joe. He came ashore onto our sunny island in 1999 and was originally from Nakhon Phanom, in the Northeastern part of Thailand. Joe and his wife work as a perfect duo, making all their dishes from scratch using the freshest ingredients. They are definitely going to make you come back for more!
You’ll be excited upon looking at their menu because it’s so extensive! They have everything you can think of. Looking for some fresh seafood dishes? Check out their Dry Curry Prawns ($20) and chef recommended Thai Chilli Crab (Seasonal Price). Fancy something with a little more kick? Order the Deep Fried Fish Fillets with Special Thai Chilli ($11.90 – $21.9), which is also a chef recommended dish.
For rice and noodles, remember to get the classic Pineapple Rice ($2.20 for single bowl, or $6.50 – $16.90 for larger portions). Also, try the fragrant umami Shrimp Paste Fried Rice ($9.90 – $17.90). Don’t forget to end the delicious meal with some classic Thai desserts. Opt for the Mango Sticky Rice ($6.80) and Tapioca with Coconut Milk ($5).
