Profile:
Colour: Green gold. Nose: ich, invigorating. Both aniseed, herbaceous, lemony, and vanilla, the first nose displays exceptional freshness. Upon aeration, more exotic scents (pineapple), peppery and licorice notes form a second olfactory sequence full of liveliness. Palate: Lively, expansive. Infused (sage, verbena), the palate’s attack is also minty. In the mid-palate, providing a lot of dynamism to the tasting palette, new citrus notes (grapefruit, orange) make their appearance, inevitably echoing the first nose. Finish: Long, creamy. The beginning of the finish gives the pleasant sensation of chewing on a licorice stick. Then, particularly juicy, the aftertaste reveals a deliciously fruity (Williams pear, russet apple) character. The very end of the palate is nobly spiced (saffron) and malty.
