THE WINE IS DEDICATED TO THE FIRST VINEYARD CULTIVATED WITH A BUSH-TRAINING SYSTEM IN BOLGHERI, WITH A PLANTING PATTERN CALLED “SETTONCE”, WITH AN EQUIDISTANT PLANTING, WHICH ALLOWS EACH SINGLE VINE TO RECEIVE THE SAME SOLAR RADIATION AND AN EQUAL PORTION OF SOIL.

Cassis, roasted and toasted dark fruit, char, very much a Cabernet nose

How It Was Made:

The idea of ​​L'Alberello was born as a response to climatic situations of extreme heat and drought, as this form of cultivation is more resilient to such conditions. The particular distribution of the vines allows the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes to be harvested at the same time, forming a true blend. The fermentation of the two vines together gives particular balsamic and spicy notes, which then acquire depth and breadth with the aging in barriques for a maximum of 18 months.
