Returns and Exchange Policy

Policy on Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

1. Alcohol sold by UrbanFindr

1.1. The policy in this section relates only to alcohol products sold by UrbanFindr at the site https://store.theurbanfindr.com/alcohol. You may exchange alcohol if the product is spoiled or otherwise unfit for consumption upon delivery, subject to the 1.2 below.  Please contact our customer service department at help@theurbanfindr.com to request an exchange within 7 days of receipt. Under normal circumstances, we would not be able to accept a cancellation of order, refunds or exchange of products.

1.2. Wine or champagne above SGD150 per bottle or over 10 years old shall not be refunded in any event.

1.3. When we agree to an exchange and the product is out of stock, we will accept a return and provide you with a store credit to purchase another product.

1.4. On an exceptional basis and at our sole discretion, we may refund the amount paid to your credit card or bank account. This may take up to 4-6 weeks.

1.5. You should provide the original or electronic sales receipt should be provided to us when you request for an exchange.

1.6. You must return any gift items with the returned products or the value of the gift item may be deducted from the refund.

2. Restaurant Food or Other Items sold by Partner Business on the UrbanFindr platform

2.1. The return policy in this section relates to restaurant food and other items purchased from the Partner Business on the UrbanFindr marketplace.  UrbanFindr provides the technology platform for the Partner Business to sell their products to you.

2.2 Our objective is to connect you to the shops and restaurants that we partner with (“Partner Business”) to enable you to order food, items, or services.  UrbanFindr acts as an agent for these Partner Business when you make an order.  The delivery of the food and items will be done by our Partner Business.  In some cases, the Partner Business may be owned or affiliated to us.

2.3 Our Partner Business may have their own policies related to their service area and operating hours.  The availability of our service from the Partner Business may depend on the area that you live in.  The delivery area may also change due to weather, road closures and other factors that are determined by our Partner Business or us.

2.4 When you place an order, it has to be accepted by a Partner Business.  You will receive a notification from us upon the acceptance of an order.  You are responsible for all items ordered through your account. There may be additional conditions set by each Partner Business, including the minimum order value. If you have allergies or any other special requirements, please contact the Partner Business directly for clarifications. UrbanFindr cannot guarantee that any food or items available on our platform are free of allergens.

2.5 The delivery services are provided by our Partner Business.  If there are any issues with the delivery, you may contact the Partner Business for assistance.

2.6 You have the right to receive food, goods and services that comply with their description and are of satisfactory quality. Do let us know if you believe that the items you received do not meet this right.  We must ask you for photographs or other information to identify the problem.  We will highlight the issue with the Partner Business. A refund or account credit may be applied at the discretion of the Partner Business or UrbanFindr. 

2.7. For Restaurant Food Delivery purchases on our platform, the food and beverages are directly prepared and delivered by the restaurant. If you have any problems with your order, please contact the restaurant directly to provide your feedback, enquiry or problem. Any refunds or exchanges would be subject to each Partner Business’s own policies.  

2.8 For purchases of other items from a Partner Business on our platform, please note that the products are managed and sold by the Partner Business on our platform.  If you have any problems with your order, please contact the Partner Business directly to provide your feedback, enquiry or problem. Any refunds or exchanges would be subject to each Partner Business’s own policies.  

2.9 You may request a cancellation of your order.  The Partner Business will have to agree to the cancellation of the order before UrbanFindr can process the cancellation of your order.

2.10 UrbanFindr will not be able to provide a refund or exchange for purchases made with the Partner Business on our platform.  Should you need any assistance from us to speak with the Partner Business about the issue, you can contact our customer service team at help@theurbanfindr.com or click on our Help Centre link to open a ticket.
