The nose has a varied aromatic palette such as floral notes (juniper berry), notes of candied red fruits (redcurrants, cherries) and aromas of cocoa and sweet spices which complicate the whole . The palate is rich and full-bodied, with good acidity, powerful and well-structured tannins that express themselves through aromas of red plums and black truffles. The finish is long and complex. Food/wine pairings: Landes duck breast, milk-fed lamb with parsley, pan-fried porcini mushrooms.
