A cool spring and summer climate favored a slow and gradual ripening compared to the averages of recent years. In the last month of ripening the climate cooled further with significant rains from the second half of August that strongly characterized the grapes, giving them freshness in the aromas, acidity and pleasantness that we find in the wines. The Rosso di Montalcino Poggio di Sotto 2020 presents itself with a very fine and elegant nose, supported by a fresh and fruity aroma, with strong notes of Mediterranean scrub, typical of our grapes. The excellent balance between acidity and tannic finesse give life to a lively, fresh Rosso, supported by a sapidity and an important length, a viaticum of long life.

Perfumed with an earthy, floral character. Flavors of dark and red cherries, vanilla, tobacco, smoke and toasted oak
Cherry fruit with a touch of cranberry, mocha, anise leading to earth. Silken texture. Medium bodied. Good length.
