An indie Ardbeg - always exciting stuff! This is a 12 year old single malt from the Islay-based distillery, bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. Once again it features Geert Bero, Ardbeg collector and proprietor of the legendary Ardbeg Bar at Hotel Bero, on the label. Batch 14 has 1,928 bottles. Bottled in 2018.
Profile:
Nose: Frazzles, black pepper, a hint of caraway. Palate: Peanut brittle, burnt lemon, seaweed and smoke. Finish: Lasting sea salt and oily walnut.
