From The Character of Islay Whisky Company comes a mysterious Islay single malt that goes by the name Aerolite Lyndsay. The peaty whisky has been sourced from an undisclosed distillery on the island, though we have been told that the liquid was aged for 10 years in a mixture of bourbon barrels and Spanish oak sherry quarter casks, which sounds thoroughly delicious.

Profile:

Aroma: A captivating blend of maritime peat and iodine, balanced by honey sweetness, a hint of paprika, salted caramel, and the nostalgic scent of aged bookshelves.

Palate: The smoky character resurfaces, mingling with the rich flavors of dark chocolate infused with mint, bold espresso, and the smoothness of new leather. A unique combination of honey and soy sauce adds depth.

Finish: A long-lasting finish with notes of mint candies, classic liquorice, lingering bonfire smoke, and a touch of toffee, all rounded off with a subtle hint of salt.
