Regular price $87.90| <p><strong>THE LOVERS RUM</strong></p><p>Inspired by his grandmother, mother and sister who read Tarot cards, David Corboda created The Lovers Rum - a blend of Latin American and Caribbean rums that's perfect for Daiquiri lovers. </p><p><br /></p><p>The Lovers Rum is a unique blend that combines the styles of five very distinct characteristics and flavours of Latin American and Caribbean rums together as one. Blend of rum from Barbados, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Panama, Guatemala,<span style="font-family:'-apple-system', BlinkMacSystemFont, 'San Francisco', Roboto, 'Segoe UI', Ubuntu, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;"> each with its own style, character, personality, identity and flavour.</span></p><p><br />Each of these rums were patiently aged in oak barrels, in hot Caribbean and Central-American climates.<br /></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>TASTING NOTES</strong></p><p><strong>• Appearance: </strong>Clear, golden amber</p><p><strong>• Aroma: </strong>Toffee, muscovado sugar, newly sawn oak/pencil shavings, pineapple, passionfruit and cinnamon spice</p><p><strong>• Taste: </strong>Light to medium-bodied. Assertive cinnamon and red peppercorn spice, toasty oak, passion fruit, pineapple and citrus.Aromatic, fruity and sweeter notes, then brings a complex peppery, and dryness.</p><p><strong>• Aftertaste: </strong>The finish is fruitier with more passion fruit, pineapple and citrus</p><p><strong>• Overall: </strong>Perhaps this should be renamed Daiquiri Lover's Rum, as this rum was created and blended with this particular cocktail in mind. Add a large piece of ice. Stir for a few seconds. Enjoy.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>• Galante</strong></p><p>- 40ml the Lovers Rum</p><p>- 20ml vermouth Rosso (Mancino)</p><p>- 15ml Cherry Liqueur (Luxardo)</p><p>- 5ml Kirsch (Luxardo)</p><p>Add ingredients into a mixing glass. Add a large piece of ice. Stir for several seconds. Strain in pre-chilled glass. Garnish preserved cherry. Enjoy.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>• Royal Bermuda</strong></p><p>- 50ml The Lovers Rum</p><p>- 20ml Velvelt Falernum (Taylor's)</p><p>- 15ml Orange Curacao (Ferrand)</p><p>- 30ml Fresh Lime Juice</p><p>- Sugar Syrup Optional</p><p>- Preserved Cherry or Lime Peel</p><p>Add ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Add ice. Shake enthusiastically. Double strain. Enjoy.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>• The Lovers Negroni</strong></p><p>- 30ml The Lovers Rum</p><p>- 30ml Vermouth Rosso (Mancino)</p><p>- 30ml Bitter Liqueur</p><p>Add ingredients into a glass. Add a large piece of ice. Stir for few seconds. Garnish with orange peel. Enjoy.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>• The Lovers Daiquiri</strong></p><p>- 60ml The Lovers Rum</p><p>- 30ml Fresh Lime Juice</p><p>- 2 teaspoon Cane Sugar</p><p>Add ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Stir to dissolve sugar. Add cubed and crushed ice. Shake enthusiastically. Double strain.
