THE BRAND
Benromach traces its roots back to pre-1960s Speyside and produces a whisky with hints of delicate smoke and a wonderful balance of flavours. Known for the high quality of its distillate, the distillery takes particular care in the production of its whisky. Indeed, Benromach’s three distillers carefully orchestrate every second of the distillation process and use only high-quality, 100% Scottish ingredients. Each cask is filled, weighed and stamped by hand, before being matured for a number of years in their traditional bonded warehouses. A vibrant illustration of tradition and modernity, Benromach is noted for its unique maturations and dynamic image. Matured in first-fill bourbon casks, Benromach Peat Smoke could be mistaken for a famous single malt from the Isle of Islay. Unveils intense notes of smoke and fruit, with barley malted to 67ppm. Nose: Vanilla, honey and apricot. Aromas of cured meat and tobacco.Palate: Pepper and hot embers. Notes of orange and lemon.Finish: Fruity with a touch of anise.
