Destè is a pure Carignano del Sulcis DOC Rosato, fresh and fruity, to be consumed preferably young. Obtained from the vinification of grapes from the hilly areas of lower Sulcis, near the sea.
Profile:
Color: Pale pink with light purple reflections.
Bouquet: Delicate, elegant, with notes of red fruits and tropical hints.
Taste: Fresh, lively, savoury, with excellent persistence.
Food Pairing: Appetizers based on cured meats, white meats, fish soups.

How It Was Made:
Production area: hilly areas of lower Sulcis, in the south-western part of Sardinia. Calcareous-clayey soils, Mediterranean climate, with mild winters and limited rainfall, hot and breezy summers. Vineyards grown with counter-espalier and Guyot pruning, planting density of 5,000 vines/ha, average production of approximately 100 quintals/ha.
Winemaking
Destemming and gentle pressing, short cold maceration before soft pressing, static decantation and fermentation at a temperature of 16-18°C. Aged in steel with periodic batonnage for at least 3 months, short ageing in the bottle.
