The aroma is deep and complex and with full of aromas of ripe black berries, such as blackberry, black cherry and jam, etc at first smell, then followed by oak barrel-aged aromas of chocolate, vanilla and toast. Fragrance of spices and violets gradually emerge as the wine further decanting. The taste is mellow and sweet, rich in tannin, delicate and compact in structure, which vividly reflects the terroir characteristics of the producing area at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain in Ningxia.
