Verdicchio di Matelica DOC is the expression of the traditional culture of le Marche region. With a classic flavor, it’s characterized by a sensory and productive philosophy “easy to drink” wine, catchy but intelligent, suitable for the Verdicchio’s novice, for the occasional drinker, but very interesting even intriguing to the expert taster.
Profile:
Straw yellow with greenish reflections
Elegant and intense at the same time, floral (acacia, broom), fruity (grapefruit, apple, apricot, peach)
Fresh sapid and well-balanced with floral and fruity aromas
Food Pairing: Hors d'oeuvre, fried foods, not aged cold cuts and cheeses. Also suitable for aperitif
What’s In It: 100% Verdicchio
How It Was Made:
Hand-picking of the grapes, soft pressing, static decantation of the must and subsequent alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures with the addition of selected yeasts.
4 months in stainless steel tanks and 2 months in the bottle.
