It has the old, intriguing name of the area where our vineyard is planted (in the Abruzzo dialect “coccia pazza” means “crazy head”), as it is intended to be the best traditional expression of the Montepulciano in our land. The repeated harvests, in general three per vintage, are carried out in the plot with the best soil and climate conditions, able to give the fullest bodied and mature wines.

Deep, violet shaded ruby red

Fruity, lightly enriched by spicy hints coming from the old vineyard and from the not overwhelming aging in wood

Smooth well balanced by the fine tannins, which, in combination with the natural minerality and the well measured acidity

Food Pairing: Perfect paired to simple meet dishes of the abruzzese tradition, such as grilled lamb, pork “cif e ciaf”, lamb “coratella”, arrosticini
