Regular price $52.70This wine hails from a six-acre estate owned by the same proprietors as the nearby classed growth Chateau Croizet-Bages. While it opens with some earthy barnyard aromas, you'll soon find it offers a rich density, abundant tannins, and dark fruit flavors. There's a touch of oak aging and lively acidity, leading to a firm finish. It's recommended to drink this wine beginning in 2022.
Profile:
Boasting a lovely ruby-red colour with purple tints, this wine releases scents of red berries, cassis and blueberry, along with a hint of fresh vanilla. On the palate the attack is fleshy and intense, with velvety tannins. Flavours of ripe cherry emerge, mingling with notes of mild spices and paprika. Lightly woody notes come out, although respecting the fruity character of the wine. The finishing is long and flavoursome.
