For more than 10 generations, the family of Diaz Bayo devoted themselves fully into cultivating the best vineyard for wine production. Production of Diaz Bayo's wines are carried out using both traditional and innovative methods, without nasty chemicals and synthetic fertilizers. They provide consumers with wines that are made using the most natural methods that best reflect the characteristics of the terroir.
Profile:
Cherry red colour and purple rim.
Ripe black fruit, spicy and balsamic hint, mixed/combined with cocoa and liquorice.
Fruit and oak are perfectly integrated.
Tasty, long and nice in mouth.

How It Was Made:
Soil: Clayey-calcareous soil.
Harvest: Hand-picked harvesting.
Vinification: 100% de-stemmed grapes. Fermentation under controlled temperature in wood, stainless steel and concrete tanks. Aged 15 months in American-French oak barrels. Aged 12 months in bottle.
Estate: Los Anarinos, El Hoyo, El Rubial.
Age of vineyards: 25 years.
Altitude of vineyards: 850 meters.
