Syrah, originating from vineyards located at 730 meters above sea level on predominantly clay soils, represents an excellent example of how the territory profoundly influences the character of a wine. The specific soil combined with the high altitude helps create a unique environment for growing grapes, which is clearly reflected in the distinctive qualities of the final wine.
