A Trincadeira Nao E Tao Preta 2019
Red Wine from Alentejo, Portugal
Typical Alentejo variety, the black Trincadeira (also known as Tinta Amarela) has a thin and fragile skin, making it susceptible to rot in rainy conditions and overripening in high temperatures. This Trincadeira was harvested at its optimal point, with a focus on its fresh fruit character. It brings a breeze of Alentejo freshness—once thought lost, but in truth, always present. The Trincadeira... is not so "black" after all!
It displays a fragile garnet-ruby color. The nose reveals notes of wet forest floor, mushrooms, and spices, complemented by soft herbal undertones. On the palate, it is very fresh, well-structured, and offers a medium texture.
