100% Syrah from Château Canet’s Les Évangiles parcel in Minervois, Languedoc. Aged in a mix of new and used oak (approx. 30% new), fermented traditionally with foot-trodden skins for depth and concentration.
Profile:
Aroma: Blueberries, blackberries, violets, vanilla and mocha from oak ageing.
Palate: Rich and powerful with black fruit core, fine tannins, balanced acidity, hints of game and spice.
Finish: Long, warm and savory with lingering dark fruit, subtle herbaceous minerality and oak spice.
