Profile:
Colour: Coppery orange. Nose : Fine, sophisticated. Balsamic (lime, pine, cedar), exotic (guava, mango), and floral (hawthorn), the initial nose is particularly deep. Upon aeration, apricot, orange, and melon mingle with noble spices (cardamom, ginger) and more tertiary fragrances (cep mushroom, moss). Then, red and black fruits (strawberry, blackberry) arrive as the highlight. Palate: Both lively and elegant. Resuming the tasting journey, the beginning of the finish is remarkably mature (date, fig, toffee). Subsequently, flavors of coconut, quince jelly, and freshly squeezed orange refresh the palate. Finish: Long, expansive. Tenderly spicy (nutmeg, cinnamon), the start of the finish is oxidative (cherry eau-de-vie) and floral (faded rose, petunia). In the aftertaste, more resinous (pine) and honeyed (lavender, heather) flavors evolve harmoniously. The very end of the palate is powdery (cocoa) and nobly woody (suspended dust).
