The Bitter Truth Tonic Bitters are made to provide an authentic Gin and Tonic experience. The combination of grapefruit, Sicilian lemon, lime and Seville oranges merge perfectly with hints of juniper berries, orris root and Japanese green tea leaves. Exotic notes of citrus and spice, balanced by a grassy-fresh Japanese green tea bouquet. Backed up with herbal notes from juniper berries, coriander seeds and mace. Thomas Henry was an apothecary in Manchester\, England who is credited with first producing carbonated water.

### The Bitter Truth Distillery Profile

Founded in 2006 by Munich bartenders Stephan Berg and Alexander Hauck, The Bitter Truth has been instrumental in reviving the art of cocktail bitters. The idea for the brand emerged from the lack of high-quality bitters available in Germany, and Berg's extensive collection of historical and current bitters provided a unique foundation for their venture.

Their debut products—Orange Bitters and Old Time Aromatic Bitters—were launched in August 2006, quickly followed by Lemon Bitters. The Bitter Truth now boasts an impressive range of flavors, including Jerry Thomas, Creole, Celery, Grapefruit, and Chocolate Bitters, among others. They also offer a selection of liqueurs and flavored spirits like Apricot and Elderflower Liqueur.
