Produced from grapes grown at the Ferrand vineyards, in Grande Champagne, Ferrand Cognac introduces older/less-used varietals, thinking outside the barrel and forward thinking, looking at Cognac with new eyes. 1840 was inspired by an old and rare Cognac found in a dusty old bottle by Alexandre Gabriel, in this unique shaped bottle.
 

Profile:

Notes of Acacia tree blossom and a bracing hint of cedar.

Palate: Warm with fruit notes yet still very clean. The finish shows lots of honey and spice

Raw Material: Ugni - Blanc grapes

What’s In It: Dried peels and all spice. Acacia honey and dried apricot.
